TEDx is an initiative to bring the spirit of “Ideas worth spreading” to local communities around the globe. TEDx events are organized by curious individuals who seek to discover ideas and spark conversations in their own community.
TEDx is a global community, welcoming people from every discipline and culture who seek a deeper understanding of the world. Believing passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and, ultimately, the world. Building a clearinghouse of free knowledge from the world’s most inspired thinkers — and a community of curious souls to engage with ideas and each other, both online and Tedx events around the world, all year long.
How We Fit In
The Met School is a place where passions, ideas and more come to fruition. The determined students who attend all have their own personal goals and talents that they wish to express, with no stopping from a school system. There has been a need to publicly display the Met to a large audience, to exhibit what the school is, and what it’s about. This will now be accomplished via a TEDx event being organized by the Met’s own students.
